Warringah Council Elections 2008

The Oxford Falls Action Group will be asking all candidates in the Warringah Council elections to answer a short set of questions relating to the ongoing development proposal.

We will publish the candidate's responses as we receive them. They will appear on this page - so make sure to check back!

Here are the questions that candidates were sent:

1. What is your position on the existing LEP for Oxford Falls Valley?
    
2. A current Major Developments 3A Development Application exists for Oxford Falls Valley to build an extensive (~1,000 person) 'retirement resort' that has twice been rejected by Warringah Council.  Do you support this development? Yes / No and please explain your position in a few words.
    
3. Do you agree that the locality should be protected against future inappropriate developments?
    
4. Do you feel that the State Government should be lobbied to return responsibility for this and similar developments to Council?
