In answer to your questions:
1. I believe Warringah Council needs to review the Locality Statement for Oxford Falls Valley to ensure that are strong enough to prevent inappropriate development, protect the environment and local amenity.
2. No I do not support this development. There is not adequate infrastructure to cope with it nor is it in keeping with the Locality and will have an adverse effect on neighbouring and residential amenity by way of bulk and scale, population and traffic increases.
3. Yes, see answer to Question 1.
4. I have always opposed Labor's legislative regime that gives Frank Sartor the power to call in development applications and remove grass roots participation. The recent legislative amendments passed in the last session of Parliament giving Mr Sartor or any Minister for Planning even more power and further removing the input of local residents and the authority of Council is a disgrace. We as both residents and Councillors need to keep up the pressure to have these new laws rescinded and return the power back to local communities to ensure that planning matters are determined based on sound urban planning principles and community consultation - not on whether a developer donates to a particular political party.
